Last month, my husband and I had our tenth wedding anniversary. Like any couple, this was a very special anniversary for the two of us, and in the weeks leading up to our anniversary, I was really excited to see what surprises my husband had in store for me. As always, my husband did not fail to surprise me quite a bit. The week before our trip, my husband came home from work one day and handed me a beautifully wrapped box. I had no idea what was inside the box (especially because it wasn’t very heavy at all), so I was absolutely elated when I opened it and saw that it was plane tickets to London. I asked my husband if this meant that we were really going to London together, and he told me that was exactly what it meant.

I had always wanted to go to London, so I was very excited to go on this trip. Like any place that you have built up in your mind, I had really high expectations for our trip to London. Fortunately, after actually spending time in London (for the record, we spent a total of five days in London), it actually exceeded the expectations that I had built up in my mind. Considering how much I was expecting of this trip, I thought it was extremely impressive that my actual experience was even better than I had hoped it would be. Although this was my first trip to London, I can already tell you that it won’t be my last one!
